We are a school of about 50 computers, mix of macs and pc's looking at both asset management and help desk tools. Spiceworks (SW) looks great, but the need for it to run locally is an issue as the IT staff (me) will mostly be working remotely on admin tasks and perhaps some issues with port blockage. Thus we are looking at Web Help Desk (WHD) along with Apple Remote Desktop (ARD).
Any thoughts on this? Why we should use SW instead of WHD? Thoughts on ARD?
